Beautiful craftsmanship
You can tell these are made by hand. The irregularities in the surface contribute to the unique voice of the cymbal. No two hits sound exactly the same, which adds life to my playing. Highly recommended for percussionists seeking character.

Exceeded expectations

Solid choice for fusion
Bought the 15-inch for some fusion projects. It responds well to light touches and opens up nicely when hit harder. The aesthetic is very cool, resembling vintage instruments. A great addition to any kit.

Studio favorite
These cymbals record beautifully. The lack of excessive overtones means less EQ work in post-production. The 21-inch ride has a lovely trashy character that fits perfectly in our indie rock arrangements.

Incredible dark tones for the price
I was skeptical about the 'ancient style' claim, but these cymbals deliver a wonderfully dry and complex sound. The black finish looks stunning on stage, and the hammering marks are authentic. Perfect for jazz gigs where you need control.

Great look, unique sound
The 17-inch splash cuts through the mix without being too bright. The black coating adds a visual flair that my band loves. It took a few days to break in, but now it sounds fantastic. Deducting one star only because shipping took a bit long.
