Good snap, nice finish
The snare wires respond well to soft rolls and hard accents. The stainless steel doesn't dent easily if you accidentally bump it against a stand.

Easy to learn on
As a beginner, I found this drum very forgiving. The tone is clear which helps me hear my mistakes and correct them quickly. Highly recommend for students.

Great value, solid construction
For the price point, this is an excellent student instrument. The double-tone feature works as advertised. Only minor issue is the strap could be slightly more padded for long parades.

Shiny and loud!

Perfect for our high school band
