Good quality but shipping was tight
The leaves themselves are excellent quality and very tender. However, the delivery took an extra day, so some leaves on the edge were slightly wilted. Still usable after misting.

Silkworms love them!
Fresh, clean, and exactly as described. The large leaf size makes feeding the older instars much easier. Highly recommend for anyone raising silkworms at home.

Decent but dried out quickly
The leaves looked great upon arrival, but they seemed to dry out faster than leaves I pick locally. Maybe the humidity during shipping was low. Good emergency supply though.

Perfect for my young silkworms
The leaves arrived incredibly fresh and green. My second-instar silkworms devoured them immediately. The packaging kept them moist without being soggy.
Q: Do you ship to rural areas outside Guangzhou?
A: Yes, we use express cold-chain logistics that cover most rural areas within the province. Delivery usually takes 1-2 days depending on the specific location.
Q: How long do the leaves stay fresh after delivery?
A: If stored in a cool place (around 20°C) in the original breathable bag, they typically stay fresh for 3 to 5 days. We recommend misting them lightly once a day.
Q: Are these leaves safe for the first instar stage?
A: Yes, we specifically select the most tender young leaves which are perfect for the delicate mouths of first-instar silkworms. They are soft and easy to digest.
Q: Can I freeze the leaves if I can't use them all?
A: We do not recommend freezing fresh leaves as it damages the cell structure and reduces nutritional value upon thawing. It is better to order smaller quantities more frequently.
Q: Are the leaves washed before packaging?
A: Yes, all leaves are gently rinsed with clean water and air-dried to remove surface dust before being packed. No chemical detergents are used.
