Great value for money
For the price, you cannot beat the quality. We use these for various control circuits and they have held up well under continuous operation. Deducting one star only because the outer sheath marks wear off easily.

Perfect for industrial automation
Used this cable for connecting our PLC sensors via RS485. The shielding is excellent and eliminated the noise issues we were having with unshielded wire. Highly recommended for factory environments.

Reliable signal transmission
Bought the 4-core 0.5sq.mm version for a long-distance communication line. Signal integrity remains stable even over 100 meters. Very satisfied with the performance.

Essential for clean data lines
If you are setting up an RS485 network, do not skip the shielding. This cable works flawlessly in our server room environment where there is a lot of electromagnetic interference.

Good quality, slightly stiff
The build quality is solid and the tinned copper conducts well. The only minor downside is that the jacket is a bit stiff, making it slightly harder to route in tight corners, but overall a great product.

Exactly as described
Arrived quickly and matched the specifications perfectly. The braided shield is dense and provides good protection against interference. Will order again for our next project.
Q: Is this cable suitable for outdoor installation?
A: While the PVC jacket offers some resistance, this cable is primarily designed for indoor use. For prolonged outdoor exposure to UV and moisture, we recommend running it inside a conduit or using a specifically rated outdoor cable.
Q: Are the individual cores color coded?
A: Yes, the internal cores are color-coded according to standard conventions to make identification and termination easier. The specific color sequence may vary slightly by batch, but they are distinctly marked.
Q: Does the shield need to be grounded at both ends?
A: Best practice for RS485 communication is to ground the shield at one end only to prevent ground loops, unless specific equipment manufacturers advise otherwise. Always follow your system integrator's grounding guidelines.
Q: Can I use this for 24V DC power supply as well as signal?
A: Yes, given the 300/300V voltage rating, it is perfectly safe for low voltage 24V DC power applications. However, ensure you do not mix high voltage and low voltage signals within the same multi-core cable to avoid interference.
