Works well on 12V system
Using this on an older 12V printer. It reaches target temp in about 90 seconds. Seems durable, but time will tell how long it lasts.

A: No, this package includes only the heating rod. We recommend applying fresh thermal paste between the heater and the heat block for optimal heat transfer.
Q: Is this compatible with a Creality CR-10?
A: Yes, this 6x20mm heating rod is compatible with the standard hotend found on most Creality CR-10 models, provided you match the voltage (12V or 24V) of your specific machine.
Q: Can I use a 24V heater on a 12V printer?
A: Technically you can, but it will only produce one-quarter of its rated power, resulting in very slow heating times and potential inability to reach high temperatures. We strongly recommend matching the voltage exactly.
Q: How do I know which voltage my printer needs?
A: Check the label on your printer's power supply unit (PSU). It will clearly state whether the output is 12V or 24V. You must select the heating rod that matches this voltage.
Q: What is the resistance of this heater?
A: For the 12V version, the resistance is approximately 0.36 ohms. For the 24V version, it is approximately 1.44 ohms. Please verify with a multimeter before installation.
