Perfect for home tailoring projects
I upgraded from a manual machine to this Feiyue FY401 and the difference is night and day. The electronic speed control makes handling thick denim so much easier. The overlock stitch is clean and professional.

Excellent build quality
Solid metal construction feels very durable. The LED light is bright and positioned perfectly. Setup was straightforward following the included manual. Very happy with this purchase.

Heavy duty performance
I use this for making curtains and upholstery covers. It handles multiple layers of heavy fabric without jamming. The differential feed prevents puckering on stretchy materials. Highly recommended!

Best upgrade I've made
Fast, reliable, and produces beautiful edges. The ability to switch between 3 and 4 threads quickly is a huge time saver. Customer support was also helpful when I had a question about tension settings.

Good machine for the price
Does everything I need for my small clothing business. The cutters are sharp and trim fabric evenly. Took off one star because the foot pedal sensitivity took some getting used to.

Great value but needs patience to thread
The machine runs smoothly and quietly. My only complaint is that threading all four spools takes a bit of practice initially. Once set up, it works flawlessly for hemming pants and finishing seams.
Q: How often do the blades need replacing?
A: With regular home use, the blades typically last for several years. You will know they need replacement if they start pulling the fabric instead of cutting cleanly.
Q: Is a carrying case included?
A: No, a carrying case is not included in the standard box, but the machine is compact enough to fit in most universal sewing machine bags available separately.
Q: Can this machine sew leather?
A: Yes, the FY401 can handle lightweight to medium-weight leather. For very thick leather, we recommend testing on a scrap piece first and adjusting the tension accordingly.
Q: What is the voltage requirement?
A: This model operates on standard 110V-120V for North America. If you are in a 220V region, please ensure you select the correct voltage version at checkout.
Q: Does it come with an English manual?
A: Yes, the package includes a comprehensive user manual in English, along with a quick-start guide and threading diagrams.
