Great machine, slight learning curve
The build quality is excellent and it handles thick denim without skipping. It took me a day to get the tension settings right for different fabrics, but once set, it works flawlessly.

Quiet and powerful
I was surprised by how quiet this motor is compared to other sergers I've tried. The LED light is bright enough to see dark fabrics clearly. Very happy with this purchase.

Professional results at home
As someone who sells handmade garments online, this machine has sped up my production time significantly. The differential feed prevents puckering on knits perfectly.

Best investment for my hobby
I upgraded from a basic sewing machine to this overlock, and the difference in the final look of my projects is night and day. The 2026 model features are very intuitive.

Solid workhorse
It's a bit heavier than expected, which actually helps with stability when sewing at high speeds. The instruction manual could be more detailed, but there are good videos online.

Perfect upgrade for my home studio
This JUKI 90 model is incredibly smooth. The threading system is much easier than my old machine, and the finish on the seams is professional grade. Highly recommend for anyone making clothes at home.
Q: Can this handle leather or only fabric?
A: This model is designed primarily for woven and knit fabrics. While it can handle lightweight faux leather, we do not recommend it for genuine heavy leather as it may damage the feed dogs.
Q: Does this machine come with a cover and extra needles?
A: Yes, the package includes a soft dust cover, a set of initial needles, and a basic tool kit for maintenance.
Q: What is the difference between the 80, 90, and 988 models mentioned?
A: The number indicates the thread capacity and feature set. The 90 model offered here supports 3, 4, and 5 threads with advanced differential feed, whereas the 80 is 3/4 thread only, and the 988 includes digital stitch control.
Q: Is the voltage adjustable for international use?
A: Yes, the 2026 flagship model features a dual-voltage switch on the back, allowing safe operation on both 110V and 220V power sources with the appropriate plug adapter.
Q: How often does the blade need sharpening or replacement?
A: Under normal home use, the blades typically last for several years. If you notice frayed edges instead of clean cuts, it is time to replace them. Replacement blades are sold separately.
