Decent but instruction manual is vague
The machine itself seems durable, but the threading instructions were hard to follow. I had to watch an online video to figure out the correct path. Once threaded properly, it seals bags quickly.

Solid workhorse

Good value but needs break-in
The machine works well once you get the tension adjusted correctly. It skipped a few stitches on the very first bag, but after sewing some scrap fabric to break it in, it runs smoothly. Great price point for small businesses.
Q: How do I adjust the stitch length?
A: The stitch length is adjustable via the regulator knob located on the side of the machine head. Turning it clockwise decreases length, while counter-clockwise increases it.
Q: Is replacement parts availability good for this model?
A: Yes, the GK9-2 uses standard industrial components. Needles, loopers, and feed dogs are widely available from most sewing machine supply stores.
Q: Does this machine come with needles and thread?
A: Yes, the package includes one box of DCx1 needles and one spool of high-strength polyester thread to get you started.
