Great value for a beginner
As someone new to sewing, this machine was easy to thread and set up. The instructions could be slightly clearer, but once I got the hang of it, the stitch quality was excellent.

Good but needs practice
The machine works well once you understand the tension settings. It took me a few tries to get the perfect stitch on thick material, but customer support was helpful in guiding me.

Reliable and quiet
I love how quiet this machine runs compared to my old one. The automatic thread winder saves so much time, and the variety of stitches allows for creative projects.

Solid desktop machine
It sits nicely on my desk and doesn't take up too much space. The overlock function works well for finishing edges, though I still prefer a dedicated serger for bulk projects.

Perfect for my home tailoring needs
I bought this Butterfly machine to alter clothes for my family, and it handles everything from light silk to heavy denim effortlessly. The foot pedal is very responsive, making it easy to control speed.

Heavy-duty performance
Don't let the compact size fool you; this machine powers through multiple layers of fabric without jamming. The LED light is bright and really helps when working on dark fabrics.
Q: Can this machine sew through leather?
A: Yes, the Butterfly JH8230 is designed as a heavy-duty sewer and can handle thin to medium-weight leather, provided you use the appropriate needle and thread.
Q: Is the warranty valid internationally?
A: The manufacturer's warranty is typically valid only in the country of purchase. Please check your specific region's policy or contact us for international support options.
Q: Can I adjust the stitch length manually?
A: Yes, there is a manual dial on the front of the machine that allows you to easily adjust both stitch length and width to suit your fabric.
Q: What type of bobbin does this use?
A: This model uses a standard Class 15 drop-in bobbin, which is widely available at most fabric and craft stores.
Q: Does it come with a carrying case?
