Good power, minor bracket adjustment needed
The motor runs smoothly and has plenty of torque for an overlock setup. I had to drill one extra hole in the mounting bracket to fit my specific table, but otherwise, it works great.

Quiet and efficient
I was worried about noise since my sewing room is near the bedroom, but this motor is surprisingly quiet. The speed control via the pedal is very responsive and allows for precise stitching.

Perfect for household overlock machines
Installed this on a converted household overlock machine. It handles multiple layers of fabric effortlessly. The 220V conversion was straightforward for my region.

Excellent value for money
Compared to buying a new electric machine, this conversion kit saved me a fortune. The build quality is solid, and the cast iron housing dissipates heat well during long sewing sessions.

Breathed new life into my grandmother's machine
This motor kit was exactly what I needed to convert my old treadle Singer. The instructions were clear, and the 250W power is perfect for heavy denim without stalling. Highly recommend for vintage restorations.

Works well but pedal feels light
The motor itself is strong and reliable. My only complaint is that the foot pedal feels a bit too sensitive; it took me a few days to get used to the pressure required for slow speeds.
Q: Can I use this on a 110V power supply?
A: No, this specific model is manufactured for 220V-240V regions only. Using it on 110V will result in insufficient power and potential motor damage. Please check our store for the 110V version.
Q: Is professional installation required?
A: While professional help is always an option, most customers with basic DIY skills can install this motor themselves using the included instruction manual and standard tools.
Q: What is the maximum sewing speed in stitches per minute?
A: The actual speed depends on the machine's gear ratio and the fabric thickness, but this 250W motor typically supports speeds up to 1,200 SPM on standard household machines.
Q: Does this come with the foot pedal controller?
A: Yes, the package includes a compatible variable speed foot pedal, the motor, the mounting bracket, and the necessary drive belt.
Q: Will this motor fit a standard 1950s treadle table?
A: Yes, this motor comes with a universal mounting bracket designed to fit most standard vintage treadle tables, including popular models from the 1940s and 1950s.
