Easy protocol implementation
The communication protocol is simple to parse. I had it working with a Raspberry Pi in under an hour. Highly recommend for anyone needing precise motion data.

Perfect for my robotics project
The WT61C module arrived quickly and was easy to integrate with my Arduino setup. The data output is stable and the angle calculations are surprisingly accurate for the price point.

Great for learning IMU concepts
I bought this for my university thesis on inertial navigation. It connects easily via USB-to-TTL and the software tools make visualizing the six-axis data very straightforward.

Solid performance for vehicle tilt
Using this to monitor tilt angles on an off-road vehicle. The response time is fast enough for real-time monitoring. Just ensure you have the correct voltage regulator.

Good value, clear documentation
Works well for stabilizing small drones. The documentation provided by WitMotion is clear, though I wish the cable was slightly longer. Overall a solid purchase.

Reliable and robust
We have used several of these in our workshop for various student projects. They hold up well to handling and provide consistent readings even after months of use.
Q: Is this sensor suitable for outdoor use in rain?
A: The module itself is not waterproof. For outdoor use in wet conditions, you must house it in a sealed, water-resistant enclosure.
Q: Can I change the baud rate of the WT61C?
A: Yes, the baud rate is configurable using the WitMotion PC software or by sending specific configuration commands via the serial interface.
Q: What is the latency between motion and data output?
A: At the maximum output rate of 200Hz, the latency is approximately 5ms, making it suitable for most real-time control applications.
Q: Do you provide sample code for Python or C++?
A: Yes, we provide sample code and libraries for both Python and C++ on our official GitHub repository and the product download page.
Q: Does this module come with a USB cable for direct PC connection?
A: The standard package includes the sensor module and pin headers. A USB-to-TTL adapter is usually required for PC connection and is sold separately, unless specified in a bundle.
