Easy to use for beginners
I am new to electronics and this was very simple to wire up. Just VCC, GND, and Signal. The documentation online helped me understand the pinout quickly.

Great replacement for mechanical buttons
Replaced old mechanical pushbuttons on my lamp project with these. Gives a very modern look and feel. No wear and tear concerns since there are no moving parts.

Good value but needs calibration
Works well for the price. I had to add a small capacitor to adjust the sensitivity for my specific acrylic panel thickness, but once tuned, it triggers reliably every time.

Reliable proximity detection
Used these for a custom control panel on my robot. They respond instantly through a 3mm plastic cover. Very stable and no false triggers observed so far.

Works but sensitive to noise
The sensor works, but I noticed some jitter in the output when placed near a motor driver. Adding a decoupling capacitor solved the issue, but keep that in mind for noisy environments.

Perfect for Arduino projects
These modules work flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The sensitivity is great right out of the box, and switching between momentary and toggle modes is easy by moving the solder jumper.
Q: How do I switch between momentary and toggle mode?
A: There is a solder pad labeled 'A' on the PCB. By default, it is open for momentary mode. Soldering a bridge across the pads switches it to toggle mode (press once to turn on, press again to turn off).
Q: Does this come with headers pre-soldered?
A: No, the module is shipped without headers to allow flexibility in mounting. You will need to solder your own male or female headers depending on your project requirements.
Q: Can this module detect touch through glass or acrylic?
A: Yes, the capacitive sensor can detect touch through non-conductive materials like glass, acrylic, or plastic, typically up to 3-5mm depending on the material and sensitivity settings.
Q: What is the maximum voltage this can handle?
A: The module operates safely between 2.0V and 5.5V DC. We recommend using 3.3V or 5V which are standard for most microcontrollers like Arduino and ESP8266.
Q: Can I connect multiple sensors to one microcontroller?
A: Absolutely. Each module uses one digital I/O pin. You can connect as many as you have available pins on your microcontroller to create a multi-button interface.
