Software is surprisingly good
Often bundled software is terrible, but the PC application included here is actually useful. The real-time graphing is smooth, and exporting data to CSV for Excel analysis was seamless. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent for electronics testing
Using this to monitor PCB temperatures during stress tests. The sampling rate is fast enough to catch thermal spikes, and the ability to switch between J and K types is very convenient. Solid build quality.

Best budget sensor module
Bought this for a university lab project. It handles multiple thermocouple types easily and the price point allows us to equip several workstations. Support team was also quick to answer a question about calibration.

Great value, minor driver issue on Linux
The hardware quality is excellent for the price. It took me a little while to get the drivers working on Ubuntu, but once installed, it reads temperature very accurately. The Windows version worked out of the box.

Accurate and stable
Compared readings against a calibrated industrial meter and the deviation was negligible. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the USB cable feels a bit stiff, but functionality is top-notch.

Perfect for my home brewing setup
I needed a reliable way to monitor mash temperatures and this module works flawlessly with Type K probes. The software is intuitive and the data logging feature helps me refine my recipes. Highly recommended for hobbyists.
Q: Can I log data for more than 24 hours continuously?
A: Yes, the included software supports continuous data logging limited only by your computer's available hard drive space. You can set the interval from 1 second to several hours.
Q: Does the software allow setting high/low temperature alarms?
A: Yes, the software includes a visual alarm feature that highlights the display when temperatures exceed your defined upper or lower limits. It does not currently support triggering external hardware relays.
Q: What is the maximum length I can extend the thermocouple wire?
A: You can extend standard thermocouple wires up to 10-15 meters without significant loss of accuracy, provided you use proper extension grade wire and keep it away from high-interference sources.
Q: Is this compatible with macOS?
A: Currently, the official driver and software are designed for Windows and Linux. While some users have had success with third-party drivers on macOS, we do not officially support it at this time.
Q: Does this module come with a thermocouple probe included?
A: No, this package includes only the USB temperature sensor module and the PC software. Thermocouple probes (Type K, J, T, or E) must be purchased separately with standard mini-connector plugs.
