Accurate and robust
Compared the readings with a handheld commercial meter, and the results were within an acceptable margin of error. The waterproofing on the probe is excellent. Very happy with this purchase.

Works well after tweaking
The sensor itself is good, but I had to adjust the gain potentiometer on the board to get the full range of voltage output. Once tuned, it performs as described. Just be careful not to overtighten the screw.

Good value, needs calibration
Solid build quality for the price. It connects easily to my STM32 board. Note that you must calibrate it with a standard solution before getting accurate ppm readings, but that is expected for this type of sensor.

Perfect for my hydroponic setup
This TDS sensor module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The analog output is stable, and the titanium probe seems very durable in water. Calibration was straightforward using the provided library examples.

Great for learning IoT
Used this for a university project on smart water systems. The documentation could be slightly more detailed, but there are plenty of online tutorials. The signal is clean and easy to read via ADC.

Reliable water quality monitoring
I've been using this to monitor my aquarium's water quality for two months. The readings are consistent, and the module hasn't shown any signs of corrosion. Highly recommended for DIY projects.
Q: Can this measure saltwater salinity?
A: This sensor measures Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) primarily intended for freshwater applications like drinking water or hydroponics. While it may give a reading in saltwater, it is not calibrated for high-salinity environments and may provide inaccurate results.
Q: Does the package include a calibration solution?
A: No, the package includes only the TDS sensor module and the probe. You will need to purchase a standard TDS calibration solution separately to ensure accurate ppm readings.
Q: Is this sensor compatible with 3.3V logic boards like the ESP32?
A: Yes, the module operates on a voltage range of 3.3V to 5.5V, making it fully compatible with 3.3V logic boards such as the ESP32 and STM32 without needing a level shifter.
Q: What library should I use for Arduino?
A: You can use generic analog reading code, but many users find the 'GravityTDS' library available in the Arduino Library Manager to be very effective for filtering noise and converting voltage to ppm values.
Q: How long can the probe stay submerged in water?
A: The probe is designed for continuous submersion in water. However, we recommend cleaning the probe gently with distilled water every few weeks to prevent buildup that might affect accuracy.
