Perfect for my Arduino robot car

Reliable and durable
We bought ten of these for our workshop. They have held up well under frequent use by students. The infrared beam is strong and consistent.

A: The output is typically active low (0V) when the beam is blocked and active high (VCC) when the beam is clear, but this can depend on specific circuit configuration.
Q: Can this sensor work with a 3.3V microcontroller like ESP32?
A: Yes, the module operates within a 3.3V to 5V range, making it fully compatible with ESP32, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi GPIO pins.
Q: Does the package include the encoder disk wheel?
A: No, this package includes only the photoelectric sensor module and pin headers. You will need to provide or 3D print your own slotted encoder disk.
Q: What is the maximum RPM this sensor can accurately measure?
A: Given the microsecond response time, it can accurately measure speeds exceeding 20,000 RPM depending on the number of slots in your encoder disk.
