Works but sensitive to movement artifacts
The sensor detects muscle activity well when stationary, but if you move your arm significantly, the signal gets noisy. You definitely need to implement a software filter to smooth out the data. Good for the price though.

Solid hardware, simple code
Hardware feels durable. The dry pad sticks well to skin without slipping. Writing the code to interpret the analog values was straightforward. Only wish it came with a second spare pad just in case.

Perfect for Arduino prosthetic projects
This sensor worked flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The dry electrode design makes setup incredibly fast since there is no messy gel to clean up. I was able to read muscle flex data within minutes of connecting it.

Best entry-level EMG sensor
I have tried wet electrode sensors before, and while they are accurate, the hassle isn't worth it for quick prototypes. This dry electrode version strikes the perfect balance between convenience and performance.

Good signal quality, needs calibration
The signal is quite clear once you find the right placement on the muscle. It took a bit of trial and error to get the baseline noise down, but the included documentation helped. Great value for a single-channel module.
Q: Is it possible to daisy-chain multiple units for multi-channel reading?
A: This is a single-channel module. To read multiple muscles simultaneously, you will need to purchase multiple units and connect each to a separate analog input pin on your microcontroller.
Q: Do you provide sample code for reading the sensor values?
A: Yes, we provide a GitHub repository link in the user manual containing example sketches for Arduino and Python scripts for Raspberry Pi to get you started immediately.
Q: Does this module require conductive gel to function?
A: No, this is a dry electrode sensor designed to work without any conductive gel or paste. Simply place the pad against clean skin for operation.
Q: Can I connect this directly to a 5V Arduino pin?
A: Yes, the module operates on a 3.3V to 5V supply. However, the analog output is typically 0-3.3V, which is safe to read with Arduino's 5V analog inputs.
