Reliable but small pins
The sensor itself is very reliable and consistent. My only minor complaint is that the header pins are a bit close together, making it slightly tricky to connect jumper wires if you have large hands.

Fast response time
I am using this for a home brewing temperature monitor. The response time is quick, and the waterproof probe option (sold separately) pairs well with this breakout board. Highly recommended for DIY sensors.

Good value, clear documentation needed
The hardware quality is solid and the soldering points are clean. However, I had to search online for a specific library for my controller since the included manual was very brief. Once set up, it works great.

Perfect for STM32 projects

Exactly as described
No issues whatsoever. The board arrived quickly, and the DS18B20 chip is genuine. Reading temperatures across the full specified range has been error-free in my testing environment.

A: Yes, the module operates within a voltage range of 3.0V to 5.5V, making it fully compatible with 3.3V microcontrollers such as the ESP32, ESP8266, and most STM32 variants without needing a level shifter.
Q: Can I connect multiple sensors to a single GPIO pin?
A: Absolutely. The DS18B20 supports multi-drop networking. You can connect multiple modules to the same data line, provided each has a unique 64-bit serial number, which allows the microcontroller to address them individually.
Q: What is the maximum cable length for the sensor probe?
A: While the module board itself is compact, if you extend the sensor using cables, keep the length under 10 meters for reliable communication without signal degradation. For longer distances, a lower resistance pull-up or shielded cable is recommended.
Q: Does it come with a waterproof probe attached?
A: No, this listing is for the DS18B20 breakout board only. It features headers for easy connection. If you need a waterproof probe, you will need to purchase a separate DS18B20 waterproof sensor and wire it to this board or use a dedicated probe module.
