Reliable night switch
I use this to control a small water pump for my fountain at night. It handles the relay click quietly and switches precisely at dusk. Highly recommended for hobbyists.

Easy to integrate
As someone new to electronics, I found this very easy to use. The labels on the board are clear, and the potentiometer makes it simple to calibrate for different lighting conditions.

Perfect for my garden lighting project
This module works exactly as described. I connected it to a 12V LED strip, and it turns on automatically when the sun goes down. The sensitivity adjustment is very smooth.

Good value but needs careful wiring
The sensor is responsive and reliable. Just make sure you double-check your polarity before connecting power. Once set up, it has been working flawlessly for weeks.

Exactly what I needed
Compact size fits perfectly inside my junction box. The no-light sensing logic is inverted correctly for my setup, turning loads on when it gets dark without any extra coding.

Solid performance
Works well for low voltage applications. The relay feels sturdy. I deducted one star only because the mounting holes are a bit tight for standard screws, but otherwise great.
Q: Is there a delay feature to prevent flickering?
A: This basic model does not have a built-in time delay circuit. It reacts almost instantly to light changes. For flicker prevention, you may need to add an external capacitor or use a microcontroller.
Q: Can this module handle 220V AC directly?
A: No, the control circuit requires DC 12V input. While the relay contacts can switch higher voltages depending on the specific relay rating, the module itself must be powered by 12V DC.
Q: Does this come with a waterproof enclosure?
A: No, this listing is for the bare PCB module only. If you plan to use it outdoors, you must install it in a suitable waterproof enclosure.
Q: What is the maximum current the relay can switch?
A: The onboard relay is rated for up to 10A. Please ensure your load does not exceed this limit to prevent damage to the module.
Q: How do I adjust the light sensitivity threshold?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board. Turn it clockwise to increase sensitivity (activate in brighter conditions) or counter-clockwise to decrease it (activate only in darker conditions).
