Easy to integrate with Arduino
Found plenty of libraries compatible with this module. Got it up and running in under an hour for my university project. The documentation provided by the seller was helpful too.

Great sensor, minor soldering needed
The sensor itself is excellent and very responsive. Just note that the pin headers are not pre-soldered, so you will need to do a little work before using it on a breadboard.

Perfect upgrade from MPU6050
This module works flawlessly with my drone project. The SPI interface is much faster than the I2C on my old sensor, providing smoother data readings. Genuine chip as advertised.

Reliable for flight controllers
Used this as a replacement for a faulty MPU6000 in a custom flight controller. Calibration was easy, and the noise levels are very low. Highly recommended for DIY drones.

Good value for money
Bought five of these for our workshop. Four worked perfectly out of the box. One had a slightly loose connection pin, but easy to fix. Overall good quality for the price point.

True SPI support is a game changer
If you need high-frequency data polling, the SPI capability of the MPU-6500 is essential. This board breaks out all the necessary pins clearly. Very satisfied with the purchase.
Q: Can this run on 5V logic without a level shifter?
A: The module includes an onboard voltage regulator and level shifting circuitry, so it can safely interface with 5V microcontrollers like the Arduino Uno.
Q: Does this module come with example code for Arduino?
A: Yes, we provide a link to a GitHub repository with example sketches for both I2C and SPI communication modes compatible with the Arduino IDE.
Q: Does it support the Digital Motion Processor (DMP)?
A: Yes, the MPU-6500 features an embedded DMP which offloads motion processing from the main processor, though library support varies compared to the MPU-6050.
Q: Is the chip genuine or a clone?
A: We guarantee that all our MPU-6500 modules use original InvenSense chips. We perform batch testing to ensure authenticity and performance standards.
Q: What is the difference between this and the MPU-6050?
A: The MPU-6500 offers lower power consumption, higher gyro bandwidth, and supports SPI interface in addition to I2C, making it faster and more efficient for demanding applications.
