Reliable and sensitive
I bought five of these for a home security prototype. All of them functioned perfectly out of the box. The LED indicator is bright enough to see status clearly during debugging.

Perfect for my alarm project
This sensor works exactly as described. The sensitivity adjustment is very smooth, allowing me to fine-tune it so it doesn't trigger on minor ambient noise but catches actual shocks instantly.

Exceeded expectations
Very responsive to shock events. I used it to detect when a package was moved, and it worked flawlessly over a 48-hour battery test. Excellent product.

Great for learning sensors
As a beginner, I found this module very forgiving. The digital output makes coding simple compared to analog sensors. Highly recommend for students.

Good value, easy to use
Integrated easily with my Arduino Uno. The documentation could be slightly better, but there are plenty of tutorials online. Works great for detecting vibrations on a window frame.

Solid build quality
The PCB looks clean and the soldering points are well-defined. It survived several drop tests during our workshop without any issues. Only wish it came with header pins pre-soldered.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity?
A: There is a small blue potentiometer on the board. Turn it clockwise to increase sensitivity (detect smaller vibrations) and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
Q: Can I power this directly from a 9V battery?
A: No, the operating voltage is 3.3V to 5V. Connecting it directly to 9V may damage the module. Please use a voltage regulator if your source is higher than 5V.
Q: Does this module output an analog signal or just digital?
A: This specific model outputs a digital signal (High/Low). It acts as a switch that closes when vibration exceeds the threshold set by the potentiometer.
Q: Is this suitable for outdoor use?
A: The module itself is not waterproof. For outdoor use, you must enclose it in a weatherproof housing while ensuring the vibration can still be transmitted to the sensor.
Q: What is the current consumption in standby mode?
A: In standby mode (no vibration detected), the current consumption is typically less than 5mA, making it suitable for battery-powered applications.
