Good value, easy integration
The UART interface made it very easy to connect to our Raspberry Pi gateway. Documentation could be slightly more detailed regarding register maps, but overall a solid product for the price.

Works as advertised
Simple setup with Modbus RTU. The response time is fast enough for our real-time dashboard. Only minor issue was the length of the terminal block screws, but easily solved.
Q: What is the maximum cable length recommended for RS485 connection?
A: For reliable communication at standard baud rates, we recommend a maximum cable length of 1200 meters using twisted pair shielded cable.
Q: Can this sensor measure low frequency noise accurately?
A: This unit uses A-weighting which approximates human hearing sensitivity. For specialized low-frequency analysis, additional filtering or a different weighting scale may be required.
Q: Is there a calibration certificate included?
A: Standard units come with a factory test report. Individual ISO calibration certificates are available as an optional add-on during purchase.
Q: How do I change the baud rate?
A: The baud rate can be configured by sending specific Modbus write commands to the configuration register. Please refer to the user manual section 4.2 for the command structure.
Q: Does this module support Modbus RTU protocol?
A: Yes, this sensor supports Modbus RTU over the RS485 interface, making it compatible with most PLCs and industrial controllers.
