Good value, clear documentation
Great sensor for the price. The pinout is clearly labeled which saved me time. Only giving 4 stars because the soldering pads are a bit small for beginners.

Easy to integrate with Arduino
Found plenty of libraries online that work immediately with this module. Setup took less than 10 minutes. The noise filtering on the gyro is impressive.

Perfect for my drone project
This sensor module works flawlessly with my flight controller setup. The data output is stable and the I2C communication is very reliable. Highly recommended for DIY robotics.

Works well but sensitive to heat
The sensor performs great at room temperature, but I noticed some drift when it got warm near the motor drivers. Make sure to mount it away from heat sources.
Q: Can I use this with 5V logic levels directly?
A: Yes, the board includes a voltage regulator and level shifters, making it safe to use with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
Q: What is the default I2C address?
A: The default I2C address is 0x68. If the AD0 pin is connected to VCC, the address changes to 0x69.
Q: Is there a built-in temperature sensor?
A: Yes, the MPU-6500 chip includes an embedded temperature sensor that can be accessed via the register map.
Q: Does this module come with header pins soldered?
A: No, the module is shipped without header pins soldered to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder them yourself.
Q: Do you provide sample code for Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, we have Python examples available in our GitHub repository specifically for Raspberry Pi using the smbus library.
