Good accuracy, needs warm-up

The sensor works well once it has warmed up for a few minutes. Initial readings can be a bit erratic, but after stabilization, the formaldehyde and VOC data looks reliable for monitoring indoor air quality.

Solid performance for the price

Using this to monitor my indoor garden. The CO2 tracking helps me manage ventilation better. The only downside is the cable isn't included, so make sure you have jumper wires ready.

Perfect for my smart home project

This module integrates easily with my ESP32 setup. The UART output is stable and the readings seem consistent when compared to my standalone CO2 meter. Great value for a 3-in-1 sensor.

Works but sensitive to humidity

The sensor functions as described, but I noticed the VOC readings spike slightly when humidity is very high. It's still usable, but something to keep in mind if you are using it in a bathroom or kitchen.

Q: Does it require calibration out of the box?

A: The sensor comes pre-calibrated from the factory. However, we recommend allowing a 3-minute warm-up period upon first power-up to ensure accurate baseline readings.

Q: Can this detect carbon monoxide (CO)?

A: No, this specific model is designed to detect VOCs, Carbon Dioxide (CO2), and Formaldehyde (HCHO) only. It does not detect Carbon Monoxide (CO).

Q: What is the expected lifespan of the sensor element?

A: Under normal operating conditions, the sensor elements are expected to last approximately 3 to 5 years before calibration or replacement may be required.

Q: Does this module come with a library for Arduino?

A: Yes, we provide a sample Arduino library and code examples on our GitHub repository linked in the product manual. It supports standard UART communication.

Q: Is the output analog or digital?

A: The primary output is digital via UART (TTL level). Some versions may have a PWM output option, but please check the specific datasheet for your batch.
