Good sensor, needs careful wiring
Accuracy is impressive for the price point. Just be careful with the pinout as it's not labeled on the back of the bare board. Documentation could be slightly better.

Solid choice for prototyping
We bought several for our lab. The OLED screen is a nice touch for quick debugging without needing a serial monitor. Wish it came with header pins soldered.

Perfect for industrial monitoring projects
The Modbus integration worked flawlessly with my PLC setup. The digital display is bright and easy to read even in low light. Great value for a bare board module.

Great hardware, steep learning curve
The hardware quality is solid, but if you aren't familiar with Modbus registers, expect to spend some time reading the datasheet. Works well once configured.

Reliable for conveyor belt detection
Deployed ten of these units for position sensing. They have been running 24/7 for a month without any drift or failures. Highly recommended for automation.

AT commands are very responsive
I used this for a custom magnetic levitation project. The AT protocol response time is fast, and the resolution is sufficient for fine-tuning magnetic fields.
Q: Does it support both North and South pole detection?
A: Yes, the sensor detects magnetic field intensity and polarity, displaying positive values for one pole and negative values for the other.
Q: What is the default Modbus slave address?
A: The factory default slave address is 1. This can be changed to any valid address between 1 and 247 using the configuration commands.
Q: Does this module come with connecting wires or header pins?
A: No, this is sold as a bare board only. You will need to purchase and solder your own header pins or wires separately.
Q: Can I change the baud rate via the AT commands?
A: Yes, the module supports configurable baud rates including 9600, 19200, 38400, and 115200 via specific AT command sequences outlined in the manual.
Q: Is the display readable in direct sunlight?
A: The OLED display offers good contrast, but like most screens, visibility may decrease in direct, harsh sunlight. It performs best in indoor or shaded environments.
