Perfect for my Arduino balance robot
This sensor works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The analog output is stable and easy to read. Calibration was straightforward, and it replaced my old MMA7260 without any code changes. Highly recommended for DIY robotics projects.

Great entry-level accelerometer
As a beginner, I found this module very easy to integrate. There are plenty of tutorials online for the ADXL335 chip. It responds quickly to movement and the noise level is low when powered correctly.

Bought ten for our student workshop
We purchased a batch for our university lab. All units tested functional out of the box. Students found them intuitive to use for learning about gravity vectors and acceleration. Great educational tool.

Good value, needs careful wiring
The module itself is great and very sensitive. I deducted one star because the pin headers were not included, so I had to solder them myself. Once connected, the tilt angle readings were accurate enough for my camera stabilizer project.

Reliable for flight controllers

Solid performance, watch the voltage
Works exactly as described. Just remember this is a 3.3V device; if you connect it directly to 5V logic without level shifting, you might get weird readings or damage it. With proper setup, it's excellent.
Q: Is there a library available for this specific module?
A: Since it outputs analog voltage, you don't need a specific driver library. You simply read the analog pins using the standard 'analogRead()' function in Arduino and convert the voltage to G-force using the sensitivity formula provided in the datasheet.
Q: Can this module be used directly with a 5V Arduino?
A: The sensor operates at 3.3V. While many Arduino boards have a 3.3V output pin you can use for power, the analog output pins are generally 5V tolerant. However, for best stability, we recommend powering it at 3.3V.
Q: Does this come with header pins soldered?
A: No, the module typically ships without header pins soldered to allow flexibility for breadboard use or direct wire soldering. You will need to solder your own headers.
Q: Can I measure vibration with this sensor?
A: Yes, the bandwidth is adjustable from 0.5Hz up to 1600Hz by changing the capacitors on the X, Y, and Z pins. This makes it suitable for detecting various vibration frequencies.
Q: What is the difference between this and the ADXL345?
A: The ADXL335 (this model) provides analog output signals, whereas the ADXL345 provides digital output via I2C or SPI. Choose based on whether your microcontroller has available analog pins or if you prefer digital communication.
