Good value for money
Compared to other 24GHz modules on the market, this offers a great balance of price and performance. It struggles slightly with thick drywall, but works perfectly for line-of-sight indoor applications.

Perfect for smart home automation

Excellent documentation support

Great sensitivity, needs tuning
The sensor works well out of the box, but I had to adjust the sensitivity registers to prevent false triggers from ceiling fans. Once tuned, it reliably detects presence without needing large movements.
Q: Can I daisy-chain multiple sensors on one UART bus?
A: Each sensor has a unique address that can be configured. While they share the physical bus, you must poll them individually or set them to different reporting intervals to avoid data collisions.
Q: Can this sensor detect a person sleeping without any movement?
A: Yes, the RD-03 and RD-04 models are specifically designed for micro-motion detection, capable of sensing chest expansion from breathing even when the subject is stationary.
Q: Is there an SDK available for Arduino integration?
A: Yes, we provide a library compatible with Arduino IDE that simplifies UART communication and parameter configuration for all supported RD series modules.
Q: Does the onboard antenna work through plastic enclosures?
