Good quality, easy to interface
I used this with an Arduino Uno for a light-activated night lamp project. Wiring was straightforward, and the digital output is clean. Only wish the mounting holes were slightly larger.

Perfect for my line-following robot

Excellent for beginners
Clear labeling on the PCB makes it easy to connect VCC, GND, and DO. The tutorial examples online work flawlessly with this specific module.
Q: Can I use this directly with a 3.3V microcontroller like ESP32?
A: Yes, the operating voltage range is 3.3V to 5V, making it fully compatible with 3.3V logic systems like the ESP32, ESP8266, and Raspberry Pi without level shifters.
Q: What is the maximum current this module can handle?
A: The module itself draws very little current (typically around 10-20mA). The digital output pin can source/sink up to 15mA, which is sufficient for driving standard logic inputs or small indicator LEDs.
Q: Can this module detect infrared light or only visible light?
A: This photoresistor module is primarily sensitive to visible light. It is not optimized for infrared detection; for IR applications, we recommend our dedicated IR receiver modules.
Q: Does this come with header pins soldered?
A: No, the module ships with a separate strip of header pins to allow you to solder them yourself or use jumper wires directly, giving you flexibility in mounting.
Q: Is the analog output (AO) pin available on this version?
