Great value, clear instructions needed
The sensor itself is high quality and very responsive. However, beginners might struggle slightly without a detailed wiring diagram included in the package. Once wired correctly, it performs excellently.

Kids love the project
Bought this for my son's science fair project. It was easy to integrate into his custom remote-controlled car. The 38kHz frequency avoided interference from household lights.

Reliable and consistent
I've used several different IR receivers over the years, and this one offers the best signal stability. No random triggers or missed commands during testing.

Good range, compact size
Fits perfectly into tight spaces on my PCB. The detection angle is wide enough for most applications. Deducting one star only because the header pins were slightly loose upon arrival.

Perfect for my Arduino robot
This module worked flawlessly right out of the box. I connected it to my Arduino Uno and had the IR remote decoding working within minutes. The range is surprisingly good for such a small component.

Exactly as described
Fast shipping and the product matches the description perfectly. Works great with standard TV remotes for testing protocols. Highly recommended for electronics enthusiasts.
Q: Can I use this to receive signals from any TV remote?
A: Most standard TV remotes use the 38kHz carrier frequency, so yes, this module should work with the vast majority of consumer IR remotes.
Q: What is the maximum operating temperature?
A: The module is designed for standard indoor electronic projects and operates reliably between -25°C and +85°C.
Q: Does it come with a library for Arduino?
A: While the hardware does not include a physical library card, it is fully compatible with the popular 'IRremote' library available in the Arduino Library Manager.
Q: Can this module transmit IR signals as well?
A: This specific model is a receiver module only. If you need transmission capabilities, please check our separate IR LED transmitter listings.
Q: Is this compatible with 5V logic levels?
A: Yes, this module operates comfortably between 3.3V and 5V, making it fully compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers like Arduino and ESP32.
