Perfect for my weather station
This DHT22 module works flawlessly with my Arduino setup. The readings are consistent and much more stable than the cheaper DHT11 I used before. Highly recommended for outdoor projects.

Works but needed a pull-up resistor
The sensor itself is fine, but beginners should know you might need an external 10k pull-up resistor depending on your board. My initial readings were erratic until I added one.

Good accuracy, slow sampling
The sensor is very accurate compared to my professional hygrometer. Just remember it has a 2-second sampling rate, so don't expect instant updates in your code loop.
Q: Can this sensor be used outdoors in the rain?
A: The sensor module itself is not waterproof. For outdoor use, please house it in a ventilated waterproof enclosure to protect the electronics while allowing air flow.
Q: Does this come with a library for Python?
A: While we do not provide proprietary software, the DHT22 is widely supported by community libraries such as Adafruit_CircuitPython_DHT for Raspberry Pi and other platforms.
Q: Is this module compatible with 5V logic levels?
A: Yes, the DHT22 operates between 3.3V and 6V, making it fully compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers like Arduino Uno and Raspberry Pi.
Q: What is the maximum cable length recommended for this sensor?
A: For reliable data transmission, we recommend keeping the cable length under 20 meters. For longer distances, shielded cables or signal boosters may be required.
Q: Why am I getting NaN values in my serial monitor?
A: NaN values usually indicate a wiring issue or missing pull-up resistor. Please check your connections and ensure a 10k resistor is placed between the data pin and VCC.
