Excellent accuracy
Impressed by how quickly this module stabilizes after being submerged. The automatic temperature compensation seems accurate compared to my lab-grade equipment. Highly recommended for DIY water monitoring projects.

Good value but needs calibration
The build quality is solid for the price. It arrived slightly out of calibration, but after adjusting with standard solutions, it has been very consistent. The 4-20mA output is great for long cable runs.

Solid performance
Using this for a large aquarium system. The voltage input range is flexible, which made integration easy. Only minor issue is the mounting bracket feels a bit thin, but it holds the unit securely enough.

Reliable industrial sensor
We installed three of these in our wastewater pre-treatment line. They have been running 24/7 for two months without drift. The waterproof housing holds up well in humid environments.

Documentation could be better
The hardware works fine, but the manual lacks detailed wiring diagrams for non-standard PLCs. I had to contact support to get the correct register addresses for my system. Once configured, it works well.

Perfect for my hydroponic setup
This transmitter works flawlessly with my Arduino controller. The RS485 communication is stable, and the readings match my handheld meter perfectly. Setup was straightforward using the provided Modbus map.
Q: Is the device suitable for saltwater aquariums?
A: This specific model is designed for freshwater and low-salinity applications (up to 2000 µS/cm). For full marine saltwater tanks, please look for our high-range seawater conductivity sensors.
Q: How often does the sensor require calibration?
A: We recommend calibrating the sensor every 3 to 6 months depending on usage conditions. Frequent exposure to harsh chemicals may require more frequent calibration.
Q: Can I read data from this sensor using a Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, you can connect the RS485 output to a Raspberry Pi using a USB-to-RS485 adapter. You will need to use Python libraries like pymodbus to communicate with the device.
Q: What is the maximum cable length for the 4-20mA output?
A: The 4-20mA current loop can typically support cable lengths up to 500 meters depending on the wire gauge and load resistance, making it ideal for large facilities.
Q: Does this module come with the conductivity probe included?
A: No, this listing is for the transmitter module only. The conductivity probe (sensor) must be purchased separately and connected via the BNC interface.
