Small footprint, big performance
The DFN package is tiny, which saved a lot of space on my PCB. Just make sure you have good soldering skills or a reflow station.

Perfect for university projects
Used this for my final year compass project. The data output is consistent and the library support for Arduino and Raspberry Pi is decent.

Great value, easy integration
Integrated smoothly with my STM32 board using the I2C interface. Documentation could be slightly clearer on calibration steps, but overall a solid component.

Excellent precision for drone projects
This sensor provides incredibly stable heading data for my custom drone build. The noise floor is very low compared to older models I've tested.

High sensitivity as advertised
The high-sensitivity mode works perfectly for detecting subtle magnetic field changes. Power consumption is also very efficient for battery-operated devices.

Reliable for automotive prototypes
We used these in a prototype vehicle navigation system. They handled the temperature variations in the test environment without drifting significantly.
Q: What is the lead time for bulk orders of over 1000 units?
A: For orders exceeding 1000 units, please contact our sales department directly via the 'Contact Us' form. Lead times vary based on current stock but are typically 2-4 weeks.
Q: Does this module come with a breakout board or is it just the chip?
A: This listing is for the raw AK09911C chip in DFN packaging. If you need a breakout board with voltage regulators and pull-up resistors, please check our 'Modules' category.
Q: What is the maximum sampling rate supported?
A: The AK09911C supports continuous measurement modes up to 100 Hz. For specific register settings to achieve this, please refer to page 14 of the datasheet.
Q: Is this compatible with 5V logic microcontrollers like standard Arduino Uno?
A: The sensor operates at 1.7V to 3.6V. While the I2C lines are often tolerant, we strongly recommend using a logic level shifter when connecting to 5V boards to prevent damage.
Q: Do you provide calibration software for this sensor?
A: We do not provide proprietary software, but the sensor follows standard I2C protocols. There are many open-source calibration libraries available on GitHub compatible with this chipset.
