Excellent sensor module
Very happy with this purchase. The build quality feels robust, and the galvanic isolation is a critical feature for safety in my project. Delivery was fast too.

Good value, clear instructions
The wiring diagram included was helpful. It took me about 15 minutes to set up. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the terminal screws are a bit small, but otherwise, it functions perfectly.

Perfect for my home energy monitor
This module works exactly as described. I integrated it into my Arduino-based energy monitoring system, and the output signal is very stable. The isolation gives me peace of mind when dealing with mains voltage.

Solid performance
Been running this for three weeks now on a single-phase motor load. No overheating issues and the signal remains consistent. Just ensure your supply voltage matches the requirements strictly.

Compact and efficient
Fits nicely in my control box. The active output means I don't need extra signal conditioning circuitry, which saved me a lot of space and time. Highly recommended for DIY enthusiasts.

Accurate and reliable
I compared the readings against a calibrated clamp meter, and the deviation was negligible. Great for industrial automation projects where precise current sensing is required without breaking the bank.
Q: Does it come with mounting screws?
A: The package includes the module and a user manual. Mounting screws for DIN rail or panel installation are typically not included, as standards vary by region and application.
Q: Can this module handle a peak current slightly above 5A?
A: The rated range is 0-5A. While it can tolerate brief surges up to 120% of the rating, continuous operation above 5A may affect accuracy and longevity. We recommend staying within the specified limits.
Q: Can I use this with a Raspberry Pi ADC?
A: Yes, since the output is an active 0-5V DC signal, it is compatible with most microcontroller ADCs. However, ensure your Raspberry Pi ADC hat can handle 5V logic levels, as some operate at 3.3V only.
Q: What is the exact output voltage at 2.5A input?
A: Assuming a linear 0-5V output scale for 0-5A input, an input of 2.5A should yield approximately 2.5V DC output. Please refer to the calibration sheet included in the package for fine-tuning.
Q: Is this compatible with 220V AC systems?
A: Yes, this module is designed for single-phase AC systems and supports standard grid voltages including 110V, 220V, and 230V, provided the current does not exceed 5A.
