Perfect for my 3D printer projects

No rust issues whatsoever

I used these for an outdoor garden sensor box. Since they are nylon, I don't have to worry about rust or corrosion affecting my electronics. Highly recommended for outdoor DIY.

Solid quality plastic

The material feels robust and not brittle. The cross slots are deep enough to get good torque. Just make sure you don't overtighten as with any plastic fastener.

Great value assortment

Good variety of sizes in one pack. The M3 and M4 sizes are very consistent. I deducted one star because the M8 nuts were slightly tighter than expected, but still usable.

5 FAQ

Q: Can I use a power drill to install these?

A: While possible, we recommend using a manual screwdriver or setting your power drill to a very low torque setting. High speed or torque can strip the cross slot or crack the nylon head.

Q: What is the thread pitch for the M5 screws?

A: All our metric nylon screws follow standard ISO coarse thread pitches. For M5, the standard pitch is 0.8mm.

Q: Are these UV resistant for outdoor use?

A: Standard white nylon has moderate UV resistance. For prolonged direct sunlight exposure, we suggest painting them or checking our specific 'UV Stabilized' black nylon series for better longevity.

Q: Are these screws suitable for high-temperature environments like an engine bay?

A: These nylon screws are rated for temperatures up to 85°C. For engine bays that exceed this temperature regularly, we recommend using metal fasteners designed for higher heat resistance.

Q: Does this set include a storage case?

A: The set comes in a resealable polybag for convenience, but it does not include a hard plastic storage case. We suggest transferring them to a parts organizer for long-term storage.
