Universal compatibility is real
I play both cello and viola, and this rosin performs well on both instruments. It melts slightly with friction to create a smooth bowing experience. Highly recommended for multi-instrumentalists.

Good value for the price
I use this primarily for my Erhu practice sessions. The tone is clear and consistent. I deducted one star only because the included cloth is a bit thin, but the rosin itself is excellent.

Perfect for my student violin

A: Yes, this universal rosin is formulated to work effectively on full-size cellos as well as violins, violas, and Erhus.
Q: Does the box seal tightly to prevent crumbling?
A: The box features a snug sliding lid designed to protect the rosin cake from breaking and to minimize dust leakage when stored in an instrument case.
