Good upgrade from beginner set

Great for performances
I switched from my old student mallets to these Qinhan professional ones. The difference in sound projection is noticeable. Only giving 4 stars because the leather case smell was strong at first.

Excellent balance and tone
These mallets provide a very clear and bright tone on my 402 yangqin. The weight distribution is perfect for rapid passages, and the leather tube keeps them safe in my gig bag.
Q: How do I clean the bamboo shafts if they get dirty?
A: Simply wipe the bamboo shafts with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid using chemical solvents or submerging them in water to preserve the wood finish.
Q: Are these mallets suitable for a 401 model yangqin?
A: Yes, these professional grade mallets are designed to work perfectly with standard 401, 402, and most traditional yangqin models.
Q: Does the leather tube protect the mallet heads from crushing?
A: The leather tube provides excellent protection against scratches and minor impacts. However, for heavy travel, we recommend placing the tube inside a hard-shell instrument case.
Q: Can I buy just one mallet if I lose one?
A: Currently, our inventory only sells these professional mallets as a matched pair to ensure balanced weight and tone. Single replacements are not available.
Q: What is the hardness level of the felt heads?
