Great for Erhu
I was unsure if this would work for traditional Chinese instruments, but it works wonderfully on my Erhu. The anti-slip feature is very effective.

Professional grade feel
As a violin teacher, I recommend this to all my students. It is forgiving for beginners yet responsive enough for advanced players. The packaging is also very nice.

Perfect for my cello
This rosin provides excellent grip without creating a cloud of dust. My bow glides smoothly, and the tone is warm and clear. Highly recommended for cellists.

Solid choice
Does exactly what it says. Good traction and minimal mess. I deducted one star only because the cloth pouch could be slightly larger, but the rosin itself is fantastic.

No more slipping
I struggled with my bow slipping on the G-string before using this rosin. Now I have complete control. The Austrian quality really shows.

Good quality, low dust
Very pleased with the low dust production. It keeps my instrument clean. Took a few strokes to break in, but now it performs consistently.
Q: Does this contain any allergens like colophony?
A: Yes, like most rosins, this product is derived from pine resin and contains colophony. Users with known sensitivities to pine products should exercise caution.
Q: Is this rosin suitable for a student violin?
A: Yes, this rosin is perfectly suitable for student violins. It offers a balanced grip that helps beginners produce sound easily without being too sticky.
Q: What makes this 'dust-free' compared to others?
A: Our refining process removes larger particulate matter, resulting in a finer powder that adheres better to the bow hair rather than falling onto the instrument or floor.
Q: How often should I apply this rosin?
A: For regular practice, applying rosin every 2-3 hours of playing time is typical. You will know it needs re-application when the bow starts to slip or the sound becomes thin.
Q: Can I use this on a Jinghu?
A: Absolutely. This rosin is formulated to work on a variety of bowed string instruments, including the Jinghu, Erhu, and Banqin, providing reliable traction.
