Works great on Erhu
Hard to find good rosin specifically suited for traditional instruments like the Erhu, but this one works perfectly. It gives enough friction for clear notes without scratching the strings.

Decent but not exceptional
It does the job for my double bass practice sessions. However, I feel like I have to apply it more frequently than my usual brand. Good for beginners or as a backup.

Perfect for my violin students
I bought this for my teaching studio and it works wonderfully. The dust-free claim is mostly true; there is significantly less mess compared to cheaper brands. It grips the bow hair well without being too sticky.

Good value for the price
Solid rosin block that lasts a long time. I use it on my cello and it provides a warm tone. The only reason for 4 stars is that the packaging was slightly cracked upon arrival, but the product inside was fine.

Reliable daily driver
Been using Qingge products for years. This 608 model is consistent. It doesn't clump up on the bow hair even after heavy playing sessions. A staple in my gig bag.
Q: Does this product contain any synthetic materials?
A: No, this rosin block is made from 100% natural pine resin, ensuring a pure and organic interaction with your instrument strings.
Q: How long does one block typically last with daily practice?
A: With daily practice of about one hour, a single block usually lasts between 6 to 9 months depending on the pressure applied and the type of bow hair.
Q: Is the protective pouch included washable?
A: Yes, the included cloth pouch is made of cotton and can be gently hand-washed if it accumulates rosin dust over time.
Q: Can I use this on a wooden bow stick by accident without damage?
A: While the rosin is safe for bow hair, we recommend wiping off any accidental contact with the wooden stick immediately to prevent buildup that could affect the varnish over time.
Q: Is this rosin suitable for a beginner violinist?
A: Yes, the Qingge 608 rosin is very forgiving and easy to apply, making it an excellent choice for beginners learning proper bowing technique.
