Decent but caps leak slightly
The testing accuracy seems fine, but one of the reagent bottle caps arrived loose, causing a small spill in the box. I secured it with tape, and it works okay now. Just check the seals upon arrival.
Q: What do I do if the water sample turns cloudy after adding drops?
A: Cloudiness usually indicates high calcium hardness or the presence of other contaminants. Ensure you are using fresh water from elbow-depth in the pool. If it persists, consider testing for total alkalinity and calcium hardness separately.
Q: Does this come with a carrying case?
A: Yes, the kit includes a durable plastic comparator block that doubles as a protective case for the two reagent bottles, making it compact and easy to store.
Q: How often should I replace the reagent bottles?
A: For best accuracy, we recommend replacing liquid reagents every swimming season or within 12 months of opening. Always store them in a cool, dark place to extend their life.

A: This specific kit is designed for OTO residual chlorine and pH testing. While OTO can sometimes react with bromine, for accurate bromine readings, we suggest purchasing a kit specifically labeled for DPD or Bromine testing.
