Great performance, slightly tricky install
The hotend works great at high temperatures without clogging. Took me a bit longer than expected to align everything correctly during installation, but once set up, it runs smoothly. Good value for the upgrade.

Essential for engineering materials
If you plan to print ABS or ASA regularly, this is a must-have. The temperature stability is excellent, and I haven't experienced any heat creep issues since swapping out the stock nozzle.

Solid build quality
Feels very robust compared to the original brass nozzle. The detachable design makes maintenance much easier. My prints with glass-filled nylon look fantastic.

No more nozzle wear

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments

Good but requires calibration
Works well after I ran the flow rate calibration again. Just remember that switching to hardened steel changes the flow dynamics slightly. Once calibrated, the results are professional grade.
Q: How difficult is the installation process?
A: The installation is moderate in difficulty. It requires removing the old hotend assembly and installing the new one using the provided tool. We recommend watching our official tutorial video on the support page before starting to ensure proper alignment.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab P1S?
A: This specific assembly is designed for the X1C and P1P models. While the P1S shares similar architecture, we recommend checking the official compatibility list or contacting support before purchasing for the P1S to ensure fitment.
Q: Does this come with a new heater cartridge?
A: Yes, the upgraded detachable assembly includes a new high-temperature heater cartridge and thermistor pre-installed, ready for direct replacement.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature?
A: The hardened steel hotend is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C. We advise against exceeding this limit to ensure the longevity of the component and safety of your printer.
Q: Can I use this with regular PLA filament?
A: Yes, you can absolutely use regular PLA. However, please note that hardened steel nozzles have slightly different thermal conductivity than brass, so you may need to adjust your temperature settings by +5°C to +10°C for optimal results.
