Perfect for chamber music
The dynamic control on this piccolo is amazing. I can play whisper-soft pianissimos in quartets and still be heard clearly in full symphonic tuttis. The ergonomics are also very comfortable.

A lifetime investment
This is my third Hammig flute family instrument, and they never disappoint. The consistency in quality is remarkable. The silver plating on the keys is durable and looks elegant against the dark wood.

Beautiful instrument, long wait time
The instrument itself is a masterpiece of sound and build quality. I only gave four stars because it was backordered for six months before I could receive it. Patience is required, but the result is worth it.

Upgraded from a composite model
Moving from a composite headjoint to this full ebony Hammig was a revelation. The color palette is much wider, and the high register sings effortlessly. Highly recommended for serious players.

Exceptional craftsmanship
The key action is incredibly smooth and responsive. Intonation across all registers is spot on, which is rare for a piccolo. It arrived perfectly adjusted and ready to play.
