Perfect outdoor instrument

Wooden piccolos are too risky for outdoor summer concerts due to humidity and temperature changes. This ABS body instrument solves that problem while maintaining a warm sound. Highly recommended for marching bands.

Solid performance grade flute

Responsive across all registers. The high notes speak easily, which is sometimes a struggle with student models. The silver-plated keys have a nice weight to them. A great step-up instrument.

Stunning appearance and great tone

I bought this for my high school marching band, and it looks incredibly realistic next to the wooden piccolos. The silver plating is beautiful, and the tone is bright and clear without being shrill. Very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful imitation wood finish

The grain pattern on the ABS tube looks very authentic. It is much lighter than my old grenadilla wood piccolo, which helps during long rehearsals. The case is also very sturdy.

Good, but needs professional setup

The instrument itself is nice, but the pads were slightly misaligned when it arrived. I took it to a repair tech for a quick regulation, and now it plays perfectly. Just factor in that extra cost.

Great value for the price

For a synthetic body piccolo, the intonation is surprisingly good. It required a minor adjustment on the headjoint cork out of the box, but once set up, it plays smoothly. The keys feel solid.
