Solid choice for beginners

Perfect for apartment developers

I live in a small apartment without a dedicated darkroom, and this bag is a lifesaver. It is completely light-tight, and I successfully developed my first roll of Ilford HP5 without any fogging. The sleeves are long enough to comfortably reach the tank.

Great quality, slightly bulky

The construction is top-notch and feels very durable. My only minor complaint is that it takes up a bit of space when not in use, but that is expected for a large changing bag. Works perfectly with my MaTian tank.

Best investment for film lovers

After ruining two rolls due to light leaks in a cheaper bag, I switched to this Pilotfoto model. Zero issues since then. The elastic seals on the wrists are tight but comfortable. Highly recommended.

No more light leaks!

Excellent for travel photography

Took this on a road trip to develop film in hotel rooms. It folds down reasonably well and sets up in seconds. The interior is spacious enough to hold the tank, scissors, and bottle openers comfortably.

Q: Is the material easy to clean if chemicals spill inside?

A: Absolutely. The interior lining is chemical-resistant and can be easily wiped down with a damp cloth. We recommend airing it out after cleaning.

Q: Can this bag fit two developing tanks at once?

A: Yes, the Large size is designed with enough interior volume to accommodate two standard tanks or one large tank plus additional tools.

Q: Are replacement zippers available if mine breaks?

A: Currently, we do not sell individual replacement zippers, but the bag comes with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects including zipper failure.

Q: Does this work with 4x5 sheet film holders?

A: While primarily designed for roll film tanks, the large dimensions allow for handling 4x5 holders, though maneuvering may be tighter than with 35mm reels.

Q: How do I test if the bag is truly light-tight before using it?

A: We suggest placing a bright flashlight or your phone screen inside, sealing the bag, and checking for any light leakage in a dark room before loading your film.
