Solid choice for 135 film
Does exactly what it says. Fits standard 35mm strips well. I deducted one star only because the barrel lid was slightly dented upon arrival, though the contents were unaffected.

Smooth insertion every time
Some cheap bags stick together or are hard to open, but these slide apart easily. I can batch-load negatives quickly without worrying about scratching the emulsion. Will definitely reorder.

Good quality, huge package
The bags themselves are excellent quality and very durable. Just be prepared for the size of the barrel; it takes up significant shelf space. Great for institutions, maybe overkill for a casual hobbyist.

Perfect for our studio archive
We process thousands of rolls a month and this bulk barrel is a lifesaver. The matte finish makes it incredibly easy to read frame numbers without glare, and the acid-free material gives us peace of mind for long-term client storage.

Archival standard confirmed
I tested these with a pH pen just to be sure, and they are indeed neutral. No risk of damaging my vintage negatives. The matte texture also prevents fingerprints from showing up as much as glossy sleeves.

Great value for bulk buyers
Buying 4200 strips at once seemed like a lot, but the price per unit is unbeatable. They fit 35mm negatives perfectly without being too tight or too loose. Highly recommend for anyone running a darkroom.
Q: Are these bags reusable if I need to remove a negative?
A: Yes, the friction-fit design allows you to slide negatives in and out multiple times without tearing the material, provided you handle them carefully.
Q: Can I write on the matte surface with a permanent marker?
A: Yes, the matte finish accepts pencil and most permanent markers well, making it easy to label rolls or dates directly on the sleeve.
Q: Is the barrel resealable to keep dust out after opening?
A: The barrel comes with a snap-on lid that provides a secure closure to protect the unused strips from dust and environmental contaminants.
Q: What is the shelf life of these bags before they degrade?
A: Made from archival-grade polypropylene, these bags are designed to last for decades without becoming brittle or acidic when stored in normal indoor conditions.
Q: Do these bags fit 120 medium format film?
A: No, this specific product is designed exclusively for 135 (35mm) film strips. We carry separate models specifically sized for 120 roll film.
