Great value, minor learning curve

Essential tool for serious printers
Replaced my old mechanical timer with this digital one. The precision down to the tenth of a second makes test strips much easier to analyze. Highly recommend for anyone doing black and white printing.
Q: Is this compatible with European 220V enlargers?
A: Yes, the power adapter supports AC 110V-240V, making it compatible with most international voltage standards. Please ensure you have the correct plug adapter for your wall outlet.
Q: What happens if the power goes out during an exposure?
A: If power is interrupted, the timer will reset. However, the memory function will retain the last set time so you can quickly re-enter it once power is restored. It does not resume mid-exposure automatically.
Q: Does the foot switch require batteries?
A: No, the wireless foot switch is powered by the main unit's internal system and does not require separate batteries. It pairs automatically upon startup.
Q: Can I use this timer with a color analyzer simultaneously?
A: Generally, yes. This timer controls the power to the enlarger lamp. As long as your color analyzer probes are independent of the lamp's power cycle or can handle the interruption, they should work fine together.
Q: Is the display dimmable for very dark safelight conditions?
A: The display brightness is fixed at a level designed to be visible under standard amber or red safelights without fogging paper. It is not user-dimmable, but most users find it comfortable for darkroom work.
