Reliable backup power
Does exactly what it says on the box. The crank mechanism feels durable and not flimsy like some cheaper models I've seen. Radio tuning is manual but easy to use. I deducted one star because the included USB cable is quite short.

Good features, heavy unit
The functionality is exactly as described. However, it is heavier than I anticipated, which might be tiring to hold for long periods while cranking. The compass seems accurate enough for general orientation. Good product overall for the price.

Perfect camping companion
Took this on a weekend camping trip where we wanted to disconnect from grid power. The ability to charge via USB beforehand and then switch to solar or crank made it incredibly versatile. The SOS mode is very distinct and visible from far away.
