Works well but manual could be better
The hardware itself is solid and records clearly. However, the instruction manual was a bit vague regarding how to change the date and time settings. Once I figured it out through trial and error, it has been working flawlessly. Good product overall.

No PC needed is a huge plus
The fact that this works completely independently of a computer is fantastic. It saves desk space and reduces clutter. The voice activation feature works well and saves storage space by not recording silence. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Reliable and sturdy build
We deployed three of these units in our small call center. They have been running 24/7 for months without any issues. The file organization by date and time makes retrieving specific calls very fast. Excellent reliability for business use.

Great value, simple interface
I bought this for my home office to keep records of business calls. The 16GB card holds a massive amount of audio. My only minor complaint is that the LED lights are a bit bright at night, but I just covered them with a small piece of tape. Highly recommended for the price.

Good audio clarity
I was worried about static or low volume, but the recording quality is surprisingly good on both ends of the conversation. It handles busy signals and hold music without distorting. A very practical tool for anyone who needs to document phone conversations.
Q: Is there a way to password protect the recordings?
A: Yes, the AR100/AR120 includes a security feature that allows you to set a PIN code. This prevents unauthorized users from deleting files or changing system settings on the device.
Q: What happens when the 16GB card is full?
A: The device offers two modes: 'Stop Recording' which halts new recordings when full, and 'Loop Recording' which automatically overwrites the oldest files to make space for new ones. You can select your preferred mode in the settings menu.
Q: Can I listen to the recordings directly on the device without a computer?
A: Yes, the device features a built-in speaker and control buttons that allow you to play back, pause, and skip through recordings directly on the unit. You can also connect headphones to the 3.5mm jack for private listening.
Q: Does it record both sides of the conversation clearly?
A: Absolutely. The device uses advanced line-monitoring technology to capture both the incoming and outgoing audio streams simultaneously, ensuring both parties are recorded at balanced volumes.
