Solid performance, clear audio
The audio quality is crisp and clear on both computer and telephone inputs. Setup took about 15 minutes. The only reason for 4 stars is that the manual could be more detailed regarding the Linux drivers.

Q: Can this device record a VoIP call on one channel and a standard landline on the other simultaneously?
A: Yes, the 2-Channel Recording Box is designed to handle mixed input types. You can connect one channel to your computer for VoIP and the other to a physical telephone line, recording both independently at the same time.
Q: Can I save recordings directly to a network drive?
A: The device writes directly to locally connected USB storage. To save to a network drive, you would need to use the provided software or your custom SDK script to move files from the local buffer to the network location automatically.
Q: What happens if the power goes out during a recording?
A: The device is designed to safely finalize the current audio file in the event of a sudden power loss to prevent file corruption. However, we recommend using a UPS for critical continuous recording environments.
Q: Is the SDK compatible with Python for custom scripting?
