Smooth and reliable ink
This ink flows beautifully through my fountain pen. It dries quickly on standard office paper without feathering, which is a huge plus for my daily note-taking.

Decent but not waterproof
The writing experience is smooth, but keep in mind this is dye-based, so it is not waterproof. If you spill water on your notes, the ink will run.

Great value with the bonus bottle
The 50ml bottle lasts a long time, and getting the extra 30ml of original ink was a pleasant surprise. The color is a deep, rich black.
Q: Does the included 30ml bottle contain the same ink?
A: The included 30ml bottle contains the Original Picasso Black Ink, which is also a high-quality dye-based black ink similar in performance to the 50ml Pimio bottle.
Q: How long does it take to dry on glossy paper?
A: On glossy or coated paper, drying times may be slightly longer than on standard bond paper. We recommend allowing 10-15 seconds before touching the text.
Q: Is this ink safe to use in vintage fountain pens?
A: Yes, as long as your vintage pen is designed for liquid ink and not just cartridges, this dye-based ink is generally safe. However, we always recommend testing with a small amount first.
Q: Can I mix this with other ink brands?
A: While technically possible, we do not recommend mixing different ink brands or types (e.g., dye-based with pigment-based) as it can cause chemical reactions or clogging.
Q: What is the shelf life of this ink once opened?
A: If stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight with the cap tightly sealed, the ink should remain usable for several years after opening.
