Perfect weight for my practice sessions
I bought this for my morning calligraphy practice and it is exactly what I needed. It holds the rice paper down perfectly without sliding, and the ruler edge is straight enough for drawing guidelines. The crystal is flawless and looks beautiful on my desk.

Essential studio tool
I have tried using random books and metal rulers before, but nothing compares to having a dedicated crystal paperweight. It stays put, looks professional, and the ruler markings (if applicable to your specific model) or just the straight edge is perfect for small regular script work.

Beautiful but heavier than expected
The craftsmanship is exquisite and the glass is very clear. It serves as a great paper press for my sumi-e paintings. My only note is that it is quite heavy, which is good for stability but might be too much for very delicate papers if not handled carefully.

Great dual functionality

Lovely aesthetic, very functional
