Better than expected thickness

Perfect for protecting my rare books

Good storage solution
Very clear and strong bags. I deducted one star only because the largest size listed was just a tiny bit too snug for my oversized art books, but for standard novels and textbooks, they are perfect.

Great quality, slightly stiff at first

Excellent direct-from-source pricing
You really can tell these come direct from the source given the price point for the quantity received. No chemical smell, which is important for book storage. The ziplock mechanism works smoothly every time.
Q: Can these bags be washed and reused multiple times?
A: Yes, absolutely. The thickened PE material is durable enough to be wiped clean with a damp cloth or gently hand-washed. As long as the ziplock track remains free of debris, they can be reused many times.
Q: Is the plastic recyclable?
A: Yes, these bags are made from LDPE/HDPE plastics which are generally recyclable. However, recycling acceptance depends on your local facility's guidelines. Please check with your municipal recycling center regarding plastic film acceptance.
Q: Do you offer custom sizing for large coffee table books?
A: Currently, we stock standard sizes suitable for most paperbacks, hardcovers, and textbooks. We do not offer custom cutting services for individual orders, but please check our 'Bulk Industrial' section for extra-large rolls that can be cut to size.
Q: Are these bags acid-free and safe for long-term book preservation?
A: Our PE bags are made from non-toxic, odorless polyethylene that is inert and safe for general storage. While they provide excellent physical protection against dust and moisture, for archival-grade acid-free requirements, we recommend consulting specific conservation standards.
Q: How airtight is the seal? Will it prevent mold in humid conditions?
A: The press-to-close seal provides a strong barrier against dust and significant moisture resistance. While highly effective for typical home storage, in extremely high-humidity environments, we suggest adding a silica gel packet inside the bag for added protection against mold.
